Despite the suggestive nature of the word ”prefer,” they would also like to include that anyone choosing not to respect their wishes does so at their own risk summarily fried and devoured by a more sensitive member of their species! ”

“Recently, a team of linguists studying the winged creature we’ve known as the Aerie discovered that we’d misunderstood these majestic beasts all along. After reviewing their language, it’s become clear that they refer to one another as irions. What we mistakenly believed to be The Aerie turned out to be the name for their home, not their species. In light of this discovery, all references to Aeries on record have been corrected.”

Realizing that these creatures call themselves the mahar species, the researchers have agreed to encourage all of Subeta to refer to mahars by their chosen name from now on. The name, a derivative of one meaning “great seer” leads us to believe that we haven’t discovered everything there is about these magnificent creatures yet!”
